About The Position
We are seeking a Senior AV Service Technician to join our team. This role is hands-on and field-based, focusing on servicing residential A/V, Home Theater, Network, Control, Lighting, Shading, & Security Systems. The ideal candidate is trustworthy, eager to learn and grow, technically inclined, and enjoys working independently in occupied luxury homes. You will be responsible for reading and interpreting technical documents, understanding wiring and signal flow, troubleshooting various systems, and providing excellent customer service.
Requirements

- Hands-on and love being in the field as opposed to being behind a desk
- Technically inclined and always curious how things work
- A steady work history (3yrs between hops)
- A pleasant disposition, high EQ
- The ability to work independently in occupied luxury homes
Nice To Haves
- 5+ years residential AV/Home Automation experience
- Crestron Home, Lutron, Control4, URC, and RTI
- Araknis, Ruckus, and SonicWall
Responsibilities
- Servicing residential A/V, Home Theater, Network, Control, Lighting, Shading, & Security Systems
- Read and interpret floor plans and technical documents
- Understanding of wiring and signal flow
- Troubleshooting Systems (Crestron, Savant, Control4 (C4), Lutron QSX)
- Advanced understanding of networking
- Advanced troubleshooting of integrated AV, automation, lighting and environmental controls
- Control System Programming
- Train clients on use of systems
- Provide excellent customer service
