About The Position

Diversified is a global audiovisual and media technology company that designs and builds spaces and experiences for clients in corporate, entertainment, sports, retail, and government industries. The Senior Field Engineer focuses on commissioning complex systems at customer sites, testing and fine-tuning equipment so that each component and the complete system operate according to design intent. The role covers New England, and the employee must live within the territory. Frequent travel is required, primarily by car, with occasional air travel; the employee will use a company vehicle. Local travel to job sites generally accounts for 70–90% of the work, while remote travel may reach 30% at times, with 10% required regularly. The engineer works with a wide range of equipment and manufacturers, including audio, video, displays, control systems, and networking. The role coordinates with programmers, project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders, and may involve working independently after installation is substantially complete. The Senior Field Engineer may lead teams on large projects, make simple code and touch-panel updates under a programmer’s direction, and mentor and remotely support other Field Engineers. Construction-site work is a regular part of the role, alongside normal office conditions when not on site.
