Senior Autonomous Systems Engineer

Noblis•Albuquerque, NM

About The Position

Noblis is seeking a Senior Autonomous Systems Engineer to support a government contracting program in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The role focuses on autonomous systems design, development, and integration within defense and national security contexts, and applies technical rigor across the systems engineering lifecycle. The engineer will conduct trade studies, analyses of alternatives, and performance assessments for autonomous platforms and capabilities, while coordinating with engineering teams, program offices, and government sponsors. The position also involves autonomy software development, modeling and simulation, and test and evaluation of autonomous systems. The engineer will maintain systems engineering processes and program schedules aligned with milestones and government customer expectations, identify capability gaps, recommend solutions, and communicate technical findings and risks to stakeholders. Noblis describes its culture as collaborative and mission-driven, with work supporting defense, intelligence, and federal civilian agencies. Remote or hybrid status may change based on Noblis or government requirements. The projected full-time compensation range is USD $114,390 to $178,720 per year.
