About The Position

Our Senior Automation and Controls Specialists are instrumental in building long-term customer relations, solving problems, and making recommendations to improve customer systems. They will develop, build, test, and commission building systems such as HVAC, lighting, power, and monitoring.

Requirements

At least 7 years of experience with three (3) or more BAS controls platforms such as Tridium Niagara, Trane, Johnson Controls, Honeywell, Siemens, or Distech.
At least 5 years of experience in building and testing building automation and controls systems in a bench environment or live facility
Working knowledge of: installation, operation, and repair of commercial HVAC equipment and control equipment / software
Working knowledge of computerized electrical circuits and systems.
High school diploma or GED
Ability to apply automation solutions and troubleshoot complex problems on automated equipment that is new and existing
Ability to read and understand mechanical, electrical, network and wiring schematics, drawings, and diagrams
Ability to manage professional email communications
Ability to manage and maintain a calendar and task management systems
Ability to present a professional, positive, and helpful attitude at all times when interacting with customer and co-workers
Must possess and maintain exceptional work ethic and timeliness
Must uphold company values and demand the highest level of conduct from self and others
Must be a self-starter, with the ability to work as part of a team and independently
Willingness to market and promote McKenney’s services
