About The Position
The Senior Attorney will manage and lead an active caseload of state and federal plaintiff's-side wage-and-hour, class, and representative action litigation against regional, national, and Fortune 500 companies, while also providing guidance and oversight to associate attorneys. Our agenda is growing and the ideal candidate for this position is a licensed, highly experienced litigator with a strong track record in complex or class action litigation who is organized, professional, and committed to achieving strong outcomes for our clients.
Requirements
- Licensed to practice law in Minnesota or pending admission to Minnesota
- Minimum of 8+ years of experience in civil litigation
- Experience with discovery in the civil litigation context
- Experience with oral advocacy and appearing in Court
- Experience with motion practice
- Experience taking/defending depositions
- Ability to travel on occasion
- Must be licensed to practice law in the state of Minnesota
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience with class actions
- Prior experience with complex litigation
- Prior experience with wage and hour litigation
Responsibilities
- Developing case strategy
- Conducting and responding to complex discovery
- Taking and defending depositions
- Drafting and arguing dispositive and class certification motions

- Appearing in court for hearings and trial
- Mentoring junior attorneys on litigation best practices
