About The Position

PwC Law LLP is an independent law firm affiliated with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in Canada. We provide Canadian tax and corporate law advice and legal representation to Canadian and international clients, with lawyers based in Toronto, Montreal, Calgary, Halifax, Ottawa and Vancouver. Our lawyers share a common vision of practicing in a premier Canadian tax practice that has as its core principles excellence, integrity, and outstanding client service. Requirements

• A demonstrated commitment to valuing differences and working alongside diverse people and perspectives
• Experience in corporate/commercial practice
• Excellent academic credentials
• Strong work ethic
• Strong analytical, communication, drafting and writing skills
• Self-motivated with a genuine desire to learn the law
• Willingness to participate in team-based initiatives for growth and development and to implement innovation in our delivery of services
• Willingness to use our team project management tools
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage deadlines
• Interest in working collaboratively as part of a team
• Fluency in French and full business proficiency in English is required

Responsibilities

• Share and collaborate effectively with others
• Identify and make suggestions for improvements when problems and/or opportunities arise
• Handle, manipulate and analyse data and information responsibly.
• Follow risk management and compliance procedures
• Keep up-to-date with developments in area of specialism
• Communicate confidently in a clear, concise and articulate manner - verbally and in the materials I produce
• Build and maintain an internal and external network
