About The Position

The Senior Associate will support the development and execution of our client’s Mobility & Convenience Americas (M&CA) strategic initiatives by delivering high-quality, execution‑ready legal documentation. This role provides hands‑on contract drafting expertise within large, high‑impact transformation and rollout programs, translating agreed commercial and operational positions into precise legal language. Working closely with legal leadership, business stakeholders, and franchise teams, the Senior Associate will manage contract drafting as a defined workstream—ensuring speed, accuracy, consistency, and disciplined execution under tight timelines.

Requirements

  • Proven experience independently drafting complex legal agreements, with primary responsibility for producing execution‑ready documents.
  • Strong hands‑on contract drafting background (not limited to review or negotiation support), including long‑form agreements with multiple schedules and annexes.
  • Experience drafting commercial legal documents such as franchise agreements, supply agreements, operating agreements, or similarly complex contracts.
  • Experience supporting large programs, rollouts, or transformation initiatives, providing structured legal drafting support within broader project timelines.
  • Expert legal contract drafting: Ability to independently produce clear, structured, execution‑ready legal documents from provided inputs.
  • Legal writing precision: Excellent command of language, definitions, clause construction, and logical flow.
  • Contract structure & hygiene mastery: Strong attention to consistency in terminology, cross‑referencing, numbering, schedules, and annexes.
  • Redlining & version control: Confident managing multiple iterations, markups, and document comparisons.
  • Attention to detail: High accuracy, disciplined quality control, and low tolerance for drafting errors.
  • Ability to work from structured inputs: Faithfully convert business or SME guidance into legal language without reinterpretation.
  • Document management discipline: Ability to manage parallel drafts, stakeholder feedback cycles, and execution readiness.
  • Stakeholder coordination: Effective collaboration with legal, business, and subject‑matter experts.
  • Project management capability: Track deliverables, deadlines, dependencies, and progress across drafting workstreams.
  • Execution focus: Consistently deliver high‑quality legal documents under tight timelines and evolving inputs.

Responsibilities

  • Draft, structure, and finalize complex legal documents based on inputs from business, franchise, and legal subject‑matter experts.
  • Prepare high‑quality contract drafts, including franchise agreements, schedules, annexes, amendments, renewals, and side letters.
  • Translate agreed commercial and operational terms into clear, precise legal language without re‑interpreting business intent.
  • Ensure contract quality and hygiene, including consistent definitions, clause logic, cross‑referencing, formatting, and enforceability standards.
  • Identify drafting gaps, inconsistencies, or ambiguities and proactively flag issues for resolution.
  • Manage redlines, iterative revisions, and version control efficiently and accurately.
  • Incorporate stakeholder feedback at pace while maintaining document integrity and consistency.
  • Maintain execution‑ready standards across all long‑form agreements.
  • Manage contract drafting as a defined workstream, tracking deliverables, timelines, and dependencies.
  • Support multiple drafting workstreams in parallel, delivering high‑quality outputs under tight timelines with limited supervision.
  • Coordinate across legal, business, and franchise teams to align inputs, close drafting loops, and enable timely execution.
  • Operate effectively within broader rollout or transformation programs, contributing disciplined documentation and execution support.
