About The Position

The Senior Associate is a leader within the Private Equity and Real Assets Fund Services business unit of State Street Alternative Investment Services Group. The role supports global real estate funds and affiliated entities by preparing, analyzing, and reporting investment and fund performance data, along with providing accounting and administrative support to clients. The position is part of International Fund Services (IFS), also known as Alternative Investment Solutions, which provides integrated fund accounting, fund administration, and risk services to hedge funds and private equity funds. The role contributes to financial reporting, day-to-day accounting, and client deliverables.

Requirements

Fund accounting or public accounting experience.
CPA certification or actively pursuing CPA certification.
Experience leading verbal and written communications with internal and external clients at senior levels.
Excellent administrative and organizational skills.
Demonstrated ability to multitask and work efficiently to meet client deliverables.

Responsibilities

Maintain the general ledger for various fund entities.
Prepare supporting work papers for financial statements, portfolio schedules, and capital account allocations.
Prepare financial statements and footnote disclosures.
Analyze monthly and quarterly investment and fund performance data.
Review and/or prepare capital calls, distributions, and bank reconciliations.
Prepare management, annual, and incentive fee calculations.
Prepare client correspondence.
Calculate waterfalls and capital account allocations.
Complete special projects as requested.
Ensure compliance with legal documents.
Maintain working relationships with client contacts, auditors, tax professionals, lawyers, and banking personnel.
