Senior Associate - Strategy and Operations
About The Position
DoorDash Drive is looking for a Senior Associate for their GTM Growth team supporting new verticals. DoorDash Drive is a hyper-growth platform team serving restaurants, grocers, and retailers across the United States, Canada, and Australia. The GTM team focuses on launching merchants quickly and efficiently for long-term success. The business line supported is fast-growing, fast-paced, and efficiency-obsessed. The role involves designing playbooks, measuring and growing new merchant volume for a new business line. The associate will become an expert in the product, operations, and merchants, working on the forefront of expansion by building models, creating documents, and implementing processes to win deals, increase wallet share, and ensure a great customer experience. The role requires comprehensive analysis and insightful recommendations about business strategy to help DoorDash disrupt a new industry.
Requirements
- Act with urgency and take ownership; quickly jump on the most important issues and drive multiple work streams simultaneously.
- Strong cross-functional skills and experience with projects spanning multiple teams.
- Organized and appreciate the importance of following process and thorough documentation.
- Previous experience working in eCommerce and/or logistics.
- Curious about the business and how things work; ask great questions and are not afraid to challenge the status-quo.
Responsibilities
- Build structure to undefined opportunities by creating and implementing high-impact playbooks, models, processes, and tools that help grow new business more quickly and effectively.
- Work cross-functionally with business development, account management, logistics, and operations teams to rapidly scale new business.
- Understand partner needs, prioritize them by impact, assess tradeoffs, and design solutions to drive both speed and quality outcomes.
- Solve key problems with a data-driven, first-principles approach (identification, sizing, pricing, impact, root causing, trade offs).
