Senior Associate - Strategy and Operations
About The Position
DoorDash Drive is looking for a Senior Associate for our GTM Growth team supporting new verticals. DoorDash Drive is our company's hyper-growth platform team serving restaurants, grocers and retailers across the United States, Canada and Australia. The GTM team is focused on getting merchants launched quickly and efficiently, setting both parties up for long term success. The business line you’ll be supporting is fast-growing, fast-paced, and is obsessed with efficiency. You will help design the playbook measuring and growing new Merchants volume for one of our newest business lines. You will quickly become an expert about our product, operations, and Merchants. You will be on the forefront of expansion; building models, creating documents, and implementing processes to win deals, increase wallet share and ensure our Merchants are having a great customer experience. You will perform comprehensive analysis and make insightful recommendations about our business strategy with the ultimate goal of helping DoorDash disrupt a new industry.
Requirements
- Act with urgency and take ownership; you quickly jump on the most important issues and you are capable of driving multiple work streams simultaneously
- Have strong cross-functional skills and experience with projects spanning multiple teams
- You are organized and appreciate the importance of following process and thorough documentation
- Have previous experience working in eCommerce and/or logistics
- Are curious about the business and how things work; you ask great questions and are not afraid to challenge the status-quo
Responsibilities
- Build – Bring structure to undefined opportunities by creating and implementing high-impact playbooks, models, processes, and tools that help us grow new business more quickly and effectively
- Influence – Work cross-functionally with our business development, account management, logistics, and operations teams to rapidly scale new business
- Prioritize – Understand the needs of our partners, prioritize those needs by impact, assess tradeoffs, and design solutions to drive both speed and quality outcomes
- Analyze – Solve key problems with a data-driven, first-principles approach (identification, sizing, pricing, impact, root causing, trade offs)
