About The Position

Blake Willson Group is seeking an experienced Real Property Specialist to serve as the technical authority supporting real property sustainment, valuation, inventory accuracy, financial reporting, audit readiness, and modernization initiatives across a distributed multi-state environment. The successful candidate will provide expertise in lifecycle management, data governance, internal controls, and system modernization while partnering with government stakeholders and program leadership to strengthen accountability, improve data quality, and enhance operational effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience supporting federal real property, facilities management, or infrastructure sustainment programs, including valuation, inventory management, lifecycle management, and financial reporting.
  • 4+ years of experience supporting audit readiness, internal controls, compliance, and remediation activities within complex federal environments.
  • 4+ years of experience leading real property modernization initiatives involving data governance, system integration, automation, and business process improvement.
  • Must have an active Secret Security Clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD) real property modernization, sustainment, or audit remediation initiatives.
  • Experience utilizing Power BI, Tableau, or similar business intelligence and reporting tools.
  • Experience providing stakeholder training, customer engagement, and advisory support to federal and state organizations.
  • Experience briefing senior leaders and supporting strategic planning and decision-making initiatives.
  • Experience supporting Quality Control Plans (QCPs), performance management, and continuous process improvement efforts.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain required credentials, complete mandatory security training requirements, and travel nationwide as required.
  • CPA, CGFM, PMP, CFM, or FMP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the technical expert for real property sustainment, valuation, inventory accuracy, and financial reporting requirements.
  • Lead modernization initiatives for legacy real property systems, including data synchronization, automation, system integration, and advanced analytics capabilities.
  • Develop governance frameworks, standardized workflows, and internal controls that strengthen accountability, regulatory compliance, and audit readiness.
  • Conduct assessments of data quality, documentation accuracy, and control effectiveness; identify deficiencies and recommend corrective actions.
  • Support financial statement audit readiness through reconciliations, process walkthroughs, evidence package development, and remediation activities.
  • Analyze large-scale real property data to identify trends, risks, discrepancies, and opportunities for operational improvement and optimization.
  • Develop dashboards, reports, and analytical tools that improve visibility into asset condition, valuation, sustainment requirements, and executive decision-making.
  • Provide strategic advisory support to government leadership, deliver stakeholder training, and conduct field-based compliance reviews and program support visits across a distributed environment.
