About The Position

CLA is seeking a Senior Associate – R&D Tax Credits to join its Federal Tax Strategies (FTS) team. The role supports the delivery of research and development tax credit studies for clients across various industries, including manufacturing, agriculture, construction, healthcare, and technology. It offers growth, flexibility, and a collaborative work environment. The Senior Associate works with FTS leaders and assists managers, directors, and principals with client consultations, technical interviews, calculation reviews, site visits, and report development. The role also involves mentoring associates and other team members and building internal and external relationships with clients and the community. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
At least 2 years of relevant experience.
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate at all levels.
Strong problem-solving and creative skills, with the ability to exercise sound judgment.
A high level of integrity and dependability, with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation.
Demonstrated success in a business environment.

Nice To Haves

Experience in business services or consulting.
Eligibility to sit for the CPA exam.
