About The Position

Capital One Small Business Bank is seeking a Product Manager to support its Data Modernization journey. The role defines the vision, strategy, and execution roadmap for data-driven personalized experiences and business use cases. The Product Manager will influence architecture and align stakeholders across product, engineering, data, data science, and business organizations to deliver an accessible, scalable data ecosystem that supports future growth and customer value. The role develops product-management capabilities across human-centered design, business focus, technology, and transformational leadership. This includes working with technology teams to establish acceptance criteria, identify research needs, break business epics into features and user stories, and guide teams toward minimal viable products for feature testing. The Product Manager uses hypothesis-driven assessment of data to validate business needs, owns and prioritizes feature roadmaps, and ensures processes and procedures for risk management are followed. The position works autonomously in an agile environment to research and develop features using evolving technology. It involves collaboration with designers, technologists, data scientists, subject-matter experts, and internal partners to build customer solutions; understanding technology trends and architecture strategy; building trusted relationships across teams; and communicating product roadmaps and business value to stakeholders. This is a hybrid position, with required on-site presence at the designated office according to Capital One’s hybrid policy. The role is eligible for performance-based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonuses and/or long-term incentives. Salary ranges vary by location: McLean, Virginia, $111,200–$126,900; New York, New York, $121,300–$138,400; and Richmond, Virginia, $101,100–$115,400.
