This Role As an Associate in the Private Equity group, you will work on high-impact deals while using AI agents to streamline the drafting, diligence, and execution process. You’ll collaborate closely with partners, clients, and technology teams to deliver efficient, precise, and data-driven legal services. Our practice embraces the use of AI to reduce administrative burden and increase your ability to focus on strategic legal judgment and client engagement. Note: This position is for a full-time attorney role at Norm Law In this role, you’ll support: Document Drafting & Review: Leverage AI agents to generate, compare, and redline offering memoranda, purchase agreements, board materials, disclosure documents, and regulatory filings. Due Diligence: Use AI tools to conduct rapid document reviews, identify key terms in documents, and generate client-facing memos of complex due diligence materials. Deal Execution: Integrate AI agents into workflow management, signing and closing checklists, and coordination with counterparties. Client Advisory: Partner with clients to demonstrate how AI-assisted workflows improve accuracy, transparency, and deal velocity. Collaboration with Tech: Work closely with the technology teams to continue to make the deal process even more efficient using AI. What Success Looks Like: 30 Days: Learn firm AI platforms; begin supporting deal teams using AI-enabled review and drafting. 60 Days: Independently manage discrete components of deals with AI support. 90 Days: Lead AI-augmented workstreams in live transactions, improving efficiency and accuracy in document management and closing processes.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD); active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
  • 4-6 years of experience in private equity transactions.
  • Strong drafting and communication skills; meticulous attention to detail.
  • Interest in applying technology to enhance traditional deal workflows.
