Our Contracts team manages the full lifecycle of commercial contracts for clients – from first review through to execution. You'll be the direct day-to-day contact for sophisticated investment fund and asset manager clients, working alongside fellow lawyers and paralegals. This team delivers high volumes of pre-M&A contract work at speed, supported by AI-backed tools including Carta's proprietary platform, Ava. As a Senior Associate Contract Solutions Lawyer on the Contracts team, you'll work to: Negotiate and manage high volumes of pre-M&A contracts – including NDAs, confidentiality agreements, NRLs, joinders, and engagement letters – directly liaising with counterparties and adhering to agreed turnaround times Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for clients, building trusted advisor relationships with sophisticated investment funds and asset managers Maintain and update client playbooks on an ongoing basis, ensuring consistency and quality across all contract negotiations Collaborate with and mentor junior lawyers and paralegals, reviewing their work and contributing to a high-performing team culture Contribute to the continuous improvement of Carta's legal technology suite, identifying ways to innovate using AI-backed tools
