The Senior Associate, Investor Reporting is responsible for overseeing the monthly investor reporting obligations for Benefit Street's bridge loan portfolio, including both CLO and REPO investments. This role ensures the accurate and timely preparation and delivery of CREFC reporting, remittance reports, and other required investor reporting packages while maintaining strong controls and compliance with investor, trustee, and servicing requirements. Due to monthly reporting deadlines, the candidate may be required to work one weekend per month until the legacy portfolios have fully run off. As a key member of the Investor Reporting team, this position will support the continued growth of the platform by developing scalable reporting processes, identifying opportunities for automation and process improvements, and maintaining a high standard of accuracy, efficiency, and operational excellence. The role will collaborate closely with Servicing, Accounting, Treasury, Asset Management, and Technology teams to resolve reporting issues, ensure data integrity, and implement process enhancements. In addition, the Senior Associate, Investor Reporting will serve as the primary backup for the life insurance investor reporting function, providing cross-functional support to ensure business continuity and the timely delivery of all investor reporting obligations. The candidate must possess a strong understanding of commercial mortgage loan accounting and servicing, including the ability to reconcile daily general ledger feeds, investigate and resolve balance discrepancies, and ensure the accuracy of financial reporting.
