Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • At least 4 years of experience in financial services, preferably in hedge funds, fund accounting, or middle office operations.
  • Strong knowledge of financial instruments, including equities, fixed income, options, swaps, futures, and foreign exchange across global markets.
  • Excellent attention to detail, multitasking abilities, and strong accounting and analytical skills to support complex financial processes.
  • Effective communication through strong written and verbal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive client relationships.
  • Proficiency in advanced Excel and portfolio accounting systems such as Enfusion and Geneva.
  • Hardworking, dependable, punctual, and professional.

Responsibilities

  • Review monthly NAV packages, update portfolio accounting systems as needed, and maintain accurate fund accounting records.
  • Build and maintain fund accrual schedules, calculate management and performance fees, and review monthly valuation reports with third-party valuation firms.
  • Process, record, and reconcile performance reporting, contributions, distributions, corporate actions, and expense payments.
  • Prepare and manage daily, monthly, and tri-party reconciliations of positions, trades, cash, market values, and accruals, ensuring accuracy between client records and custodians.
  • Collaborate with clients, prime brokers, and internal teams to resolve trade breaks, manage subscription and redemption documentation, and support ad hoc requests.
