About The Position

The Senior Associate in investment technology supports the investment business by building and maintaining applications and designing, developing, and maintaining data flows among Trading, Accounting, and Data Warehouse platforms. The role uses technologies such as Generative AI to improve productivity, streamline processes, and create seamless experiences for investment business groups. The position designs and builds scalable, high-performance applications that emphasize reliability, maintainability, security, and user experience. It collaborates with product, architecture, engineering, and business partners to turn requirements into enterprise-quality software, and conducts proofs of concept and prototypes to assess technologies and address business and technical challenges. The role also develops reusable components and frameworks, tracks advances in Generative AI, LLMs, cloud technology, and software engineering, and identifies opportunities to improve efficiency and business outcomes. The Senior Associate communicates technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders and works with global and distributed teams, including offshore partners. The position calls for strong ownership, prioritization, problem-solving, and the ability to deliver quality results independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

8–12 years of hands-on software development experience.
Solid understanding of the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
Proficiency with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
Flexible mindset and readiness to work across different platforms and projects.
Strategic thinking and understanding of business needs and regulatory pressures.
Knowledge of architecture trends and systems best practices.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across organizational levels and teams.
Working knowledge of GIT, Team Foundation Server (TFS), JIRA, and CI/CD pipelines.
Experience with Python, C#, .NET Core, Angular, and TypeScript.
AI/LLM engineering experience or skills with AWS Bedrock, Claude, OpenAI, and MCP.
Experience with AWS services or Azure/GCP.
Data engineering skills including ETL development, complex SQL/stored procedures, data transformations, and integrations across Trading, Accounting, and Data Warehouse platforms.
Enterprise integrations and API development skills.
DevOps and CI/CD automation skills, including Jenkins/Harness CI/CD.
