Full Stack AI Engineer

Impyrian is seeking a mid-level Full Stack AI Engineer to design, develop, and deploy scalable AI-powered software applications. The role combines full-stack software engineering with practical AI/ML, LLM integration, workflow automation, and cloud-native development to deliver enterprise solutions that improve business operations and decision-making. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to take solutions from prototypes and MVPs through production deployment, and perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and at least two years of professional software development experience. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
- At least two years of professional software development experience.
- Proficiency in React or Angular and JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Experience with Python, Node.js, Java, or similar backend technologies.
- Experience developing RESTful APIs and integrating databases.
- Familiarity with AI/ML technologies, LLMs, and generative AI applications.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms, Git, and modern software development practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute in a fast-paced, startup-style environment.
- Ability to take ownership of tasks and help move solutions from concept through deployment.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with RAG, AI agents, LLM APIs, and vector databases such as Pinecone, Weaviate, or FAISS.
- Knowledge of TensorFlow, PyTorch, Pandas, and NumPy.
- Experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, or similar databases.
- Experience building AI-powered document processing, workflow automation, or predictive analytics applications.
- Experience with Agile development and rapid prototyping.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop full-stack applications using React, Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, Python, and Node.js.
- Build scalable backend services, RESTful APIs, and microservices.
- Integrate LLMs, generative AI, agentic AI, and RAG into software applications.
- Develop AI-powered automation, document processing, and intelligent data analysis solutions.
- Implement machine learning models using Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or comparable frameworks.
- Develop data pipelines and work with relational and NoSQL databases.
- Build and deploy cloud-native applications using AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and secure coding practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop prototypes, MVPs, and production-ready applications.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
