Full-Stack AI Engineer
About The Position
Build full-stack products using established and emerging technologies to solve client challenges. The work includes creating modern web and mobile experiences; developing APIs and backend services; building cloud-based, Generative AI solutions; improving delivery through CI/CD automation and modern infrastructure practices; and collaborating in agile teams that use Generative AI tools and modern engineering practices. The engineer contributes hands-on to a collaborative product engineering team while enabling others to deliver high-quality solutions. The role includes evaluating approaches, mentoring and coaching teammates, reviewing and refining work, and leading a small team through the design, development, and transition of the software stack, aligning data, API, and UI components with the broader product. The role also involves exploring new technologies and developing skills across the stack. The position co-leads discovery and delivery, collaborates on designing, developing, validating, and operating software at scale, and leads or contributes to implementation plans, solution design, engineering practices, and roadmap alignment. It writes application code using modern technologies and Generative AI tools, provides guidance to engineers, validates unit- and integration-level components, develops production-supporting automation, and shares materials and thought leadership.
Requirements
- Experience developing full-stack solutions across established and emerging technologies.
- Experience with front-end applications and modern web platforms, specifically React, Vue, and TypeScript.
- Experience with APIs and backend services using emerging frameworks and architectural patterns, specifically Python, NestJS, and Rust.
- Experience with hosting, Generative AI, and application services from leading cloud providers, specifically AWS and GCP.
- Familiarity with infrastructure tools such as Terraform and AWS CDK.
- Experience using Generative AI tools in personal software development lifecycle practices.

- Experience with Angular and modern mobile application development.
- Experience with Python, Node.js, and TypeScript for APIs and backend services.
- Experience with AWS and Google Cloud Generative AI services.
- Experience using Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, OpenAI Codex, Kiro, Devin AI, Gemini CLI, or similar tools.
Responsibilities
- Co-lead discovery and delivery project phases alongside other technologists.
- Collaborate with engineers to iteratively design, develop, validate, and operate software at scale using agile principles.
- Lead or contribute to implementation plans, including solution design, engineering patterns and practices, and alignment with the product roadmap.
- Write high-quality application code using emerging technologies, frameworks, and Generative AI tools, typically for cloud-based ecosystems.
- Provide oversight and guidance to other software engineers.
- Verify unit- and integration-level components using proven validation techniques.
- Develop scripts and routines to automate procedures and help maintain components in production environments.
- Develop and share materials and thought leadership with others.
- Mentor and coach team members and contribute to refining the team's work.
- Lead a small team through design, development, and transition of the software stack, aligning data, API, and UI components with the wider product.
