About The Position

We are seeking a Director (Senior Associate- level) to join our Human Resources retained executive search practice. Directors typically have a primary and secondary practice. The HR Practice would be your major, and an industry or other functional practice would be your minor. This is a high-accountability role for an experienced executive search professional who wants to own the research strategy and lead first-round executive assessment across complex, enterprise-level searches. Our HR Practice focuses on senior HR leadership roles — including CHRO, CPO, Chief Talent Officer, SVP Total Rewards, and Head of Talent Acquisition — primarily within large, complex, and Fortune 500 organizations.

Requirements

Experienced executive search professional
Experience owning research strategy
Experience leading first-round executive assessment
Experience with complex, enterprise-level searches
Experience with candidate calibration and advancement decisions
Experience presenting market insights and candidate recommendations
Experience mentoring Associates and Associate Directors
Ability to maintain high standards of quality, rigor, and execution

Responsibilities

Own research and market mapping strategy across multiple retained searches
Conduct first-round executive interviews and lead the majority of first-stage assessments
Exercise strong judgment in candidate calibration and advancement decisions
Play an active role in client update calls, presenting market insights and candidate recommendations
Mentor Associates and Associate Directors
Maintain high standards of quality, rigor, and execution
