About The Position

As a Senior Associate on EverQuote’s Business Development team, you will join an industry-leading team of data-driven account managers, responsible for developing deep relationships with the largest insurance carriers in the country. You’ll work closely with senior leadership to secure and expand EverQuote’s position as a strategic growth partner. You will wear many hats, including relationship builder, strategic advisor, data analyst, and digital campaign manager, ensuring we help our carrier partners exceed their growth goals in a profitable manner. In this role, you will primarily support three key accounts, while also owning a handful of growth accounts. You will be asked to represent the voice of the customer inside of EverQuote, ensuring we are properly aligning our objectives with those of our clients. This role requires a high level of cross functional collaboration, creative thinking, and strategic ownership of your accounts with a focus on driving win-win outcomes for our customers and our business. Requirements

  • 2+ years of progressive experience in enterprise account management, business development, or consulting
  • Significant experience directly managing and growing enterprise relationships
  • Proven experience analyzing commercial performance metrics and summarizing insights to drive action
  • Deep comfort and proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint for analysis and presentations.
  • Strong track record of decisiveness, accountability, and exceptional credibility with previous team members and organizations.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance is preferred.
  • Digital marketplace or marketing experience
  • Experience working with fortune 500 companies

Responsibilities

  • Drive account growth through helping your customers perform optimally
  • Develop and execute the comprehensive strategy for accelerating growth across your assigned portfolio of enterprise accounts.
  • Build and maintain excellent working relationships with key business leaders within our partner organizations and within EverQuote.
  • Work collaboratively with Product, Analytics, and other internal departments to communicate the needs of EverQuote’s largest customers, uncover their pain points, and prioritize functionality that drives account growth.
  • Develop a deep understanding of our product messaging, technology platform, and the competitive landscape to better position EverQuote as a strategic partner.
  • Contribute to a team culture defined by accountability, transparency, trust, integrity, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Communicate effectively, both internally and externally to ensure that needs of our customers are met
