About The Position

Reporting to the Director, Nexus, Global AML Team, this role involves supporting senior leadership with driving department initiatives, projects, and budget adherence. The position requires taking ownership of department deliverables while ensuring adherence to company and department policies and procedures relating to AML, Data Governance, and Outsourcing. A key responsibility is managing the client integration process to ensure a professional and positive experience for all parties involved. The role also entails managing sensitive or escalated queries/concerns from clients, investors, fund managers, or internal MUFG Departments to a high-quality standard. Furthermore, the Senior Associate Director will manage and own the individual performance of direct and indirect reports through regular one-to-one meetings, performance discussions, career coaching, and development, as well as annual performance reviews. They will also assist direct reports with the performance management and development of their teams, fostering a professional environment that encourages personal and professional development. The role includes participation in the internal AML framework and regular service review calls with clients, CSMs, and other internal departments. Finally, the Senior Associate Director will champion initiatives within their team, encouraging participation, constructive feedback, and idea generation.

Requirements

  • Diploma or bachelor’s degree preferably in a business-related field or related experience
  • 7+ years of AML in financial services, fund administration, asset management, banking, or client service with minimum of 5 years in a managerial capacity

Nice To Haves

  • Internationally recognized AML designation is preferred

Responsibilities
