About The Position
Weber Shandwick is seeking a Senior Associate for their Consumer Practice in Chicago. This role will support multi-channel campaigns and focus on bringing to life "in-culture" ideas for iconic brands, particularly in the food, CPG, and lifestyle sectors. The ideal candidate will have a passion for these industries, a strong awareness of current culture, and a desire to stay updated on the media landscape.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3-4 years of experience.
- Background in consumer, consumer-tech, travel, fashion and/or CPG PR.
- BA or BS in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism or related field.
- Excellent communication/presentation skills; verbal and written.
- Proficiency with Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Keen attention to detail and commitment to delivering clear and precise work.
- Clear understanding of what drives culture, with a passion for tapping into pop culture to reach broad and diverse audiences.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with media databases and social tracking tools.
- Strong experience with both large-scale and start-up business environments.
Responsibilities
