About The Position

Marsh USA LLC is seeking candidates for the following full-time position based in the New York, NY office (A hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with company policies.): Senior Associate Client Executive We will count on you to: Originate and coordinate insurance placements across multiple jurisdictions—including London and Bermuda—for large or complex risks that cannot be accommodated in the U.S. market. Develop and oversee engagement plans and insurance placement timelines, tracking progress to deliver high-quality insurance products and solutions on schedule. Lead client and account management activities for managed accounts and growth areas, using a deep understanding of market needs, trends, and the firm’s product and service capabilities. Proactively monitor account issues and industry developments, and create targeted growth strategies for specific accounts, industries, or specialties to ensure tailored insurance solutions are proposed to emerging buyer hubs and to broaden the client insurance portfolio. Manage and expand a portfolio of complex, priority accounts across diverse sectors, providing technical insurance guidance and informed recommendations based on comprehensive risk and needs assessments. Ensure favorable conditions, insurance coverage, and pricing while protecting the firm’s interests and institutionalizing client relationships in accordance with business and compliance standards. Preserve strong relationships with senior client stakeholders, address escalated service issues to maintain credibility, and represent the firm at industry events and conferences to sustain market proximity and thought leadership.

Requirements

  • Must have a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in any field plus seven (7) years of experience in the position offered or a related position.
  • Must have seven (7) years of experience with all of the following: Performing project and account management with a client-centric focus on a global basis for large risk management accounts and effectively communicating with them; Managing and advising on global insurance programs and renewals with an emphasis on North American, European, and Bermudian markets; Utilizing analytics to design insurance programs and service accounts in the real estate, media, retail, and healthcare domains aligned with a client’s risk management needs and to design risk financing strategies that align with their capital management strategy; Analyzing insurance carrier quotations and making recommendations for property, casualty, and financial lines insurance; Assessing potential repercussions of tax, legislative, and regulatory issues as they relate to a client's global insurance program and advising internal and external clients of compliance requirements; Performing claims advocacy support, including for professional liability claim disputes, to drive desirable outcomes; Reviewing and assessing critical elements related to insurance requirements contained in leases and complex contracts.
  • Up to 25% domestic and international travel is required to various and unanticipated company and client sites.
