About The Position

The Senior Associate Business Intelligence Analyst will play a critical role in transforming complex data into actionable insights for McKesson Medical-Surgical Inc. This position involves developing and maintaining BI solutions, performing in-depth data analysis, and supporting strategic decision-making across various business units.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field.
Proven experience with BI reporting and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Qlik Sense).
Strong proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation.
Experience with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

Experience in the healthcare or medical-surgical industry is a plus.
Knowledge of Python or R for data analysis is a plus.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain reports, dashboards, and other BI solutions using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
Conduct complex data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive business performance and operational efficiency.
Collaborate with stakeholders across departments (e.g., Sales, Marketing, Operations, Finance) to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for BI solutions.
Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
Develop and execute SQL queries to retrieve and manipulate data from various data sources (e.g., data warehouses, relational databases).
Participate in the evaluation and selection of new BI tools and technologies.
Provide training and support to end-users on BI tools and dashboards.
Document BI processes, data models, and report specifications.
Assist in identifying and resolving data quality issues.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of BI capabilities and best practices within the organization.
