About The Position

Abramson Labor Group is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Workers' Compensation Associate Attorney to join our team. Associates will report directly to an assigned Senior Associate and are supported substantively and administratively by a large team of paralegals and support staff. The firm is a leading employment and workers' compensation law firm dedicated to advocating for employees' rights, representing workers who have faced discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, wage disputes, and workplace injuries. Requirements

Candidates MUST be California State Barred and reside in Northern California
3+ Years of Workers' Compensation Experience Required
Comfortable with fast-paced work environments
Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Candidates must be in good standing with the California State Bar

Responsibilities

Managing a docket of cases to resolution
Depositions: Preparing client for deposition
Attending depositions
Invoicing Depositions
Responding to client inquiries that require attorney negations and moving matters towards resolution
Responsive to incoming emails and phone calls
Providing direction and guidance to non-attorneys as needed
Team Player: Bringing positivity to the workplace and leading non-attorneys by example
Participation in team events during work and after work hours
Providing feedback to management to ensure ALG performs the best it can for our clients
