Senior Associate Attorney, Workers' Compensation (Remote - Fresno, California)
About The Position
Abramson Labor Group is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Workers' Compensation Associate Attorney to join our team. Associates will report directly to an assigned Senior Associate and are supported substantively and administratively by a large team of paralegals and support staff. This role involves managing a docket of cases to resolution, including preparing for and attending depositions, responding to client inquiries, and providing direction to non-attorneys. The ideal candidate will be a team player, bringing positivity to the workplace and leading by example, while also providing feedback to management to ensure optimal client service.
Requirements
- California State Barred
- Reside in Northern California
- 3+ Years of Workers' Compensation Experience Required
- Comfortable with fast-paced work environments
- Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Candidates must be in good standing with the California State Bar

Responsibilities
- Managing a docket of cases to resolution
- Preparing client for deposition
- Attending depositions
- Invoicing Depositions
- Responding to client inquiries that require attorney negations and moving matters towards resolution
- Responsive to incoming emails and phone calls
- Providing direction and guidance to non-attorneys as needed
- Bringing positivity to the workplace and leading non-attorneys by example
- Participation in team events during work and after work hours
- Providing feedback to management to ensure ALG performs the best it can for our clients
