About The Position

SitusAMC is looking for passionate individuals to join their team and transform client businesses and their own careers. This role is responsible for completing commercial valuations on all major property types for institutional properties across the U.S. The position involves assisting national clients, including large financial institutions, pension funds, and insurance companies, with portfolio work. Associates will collaborate closely with AVPs to complete these processes.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree – preferred fields of study include Real Estate, Accounting, Finance or equivalent combination of education and experience
Experienced professional with 5+ years of industry and/or relevant experience, typically with 1+ years in an Associate level role or external equivalent.
3-5 years’ prior analyst/associate level experience
Intermediate understanding of Commercial Real Estate and Finance
Basic understanding of the current real estate climate and market
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to meet deadlines, self-motivated, and execute at a high level
MS Office Suite including Outlook, Excel, Power Point and Word

Responsibilities

Performing valuations
Efficiently perform valuations with a future career path to lead a team of valuation professionals by providing guidance and quality control
Manage workflow to produce on time deliveries
Help execute portfolio valuations and large consulting engagements through implementation of organizational and technical skills
Communication/coordinate with market participants, clients, and co-workers
Research property and market information
Inspect properties
Analyze subject and comparable data
Develop appraisal and consulting reports and other deliverables
Resolve non-compliant issues through verbal and written communication with client or other involved parties
Work independently on projects and also collaborate ‘face to face’ as a team player
Other activities as may be assigned by your manager
