Senior Asset Manager

JTEC is seeking a Senior Asset Manager with expertise supporting data product enablement, IT asset lifecycle management, and DoD Financial Management. In this role, you will take ownership of total lifecycle control—identifying assets, determining ownership, tracking hardware/software/lease status, managing procurement demands, and orchestrating end-of-life swapping. You will serve as the bridge between functional DoD requirements and enterprise platform automation, understanding how procurement directly intersects with licensing entitlements to support data-driven decision-making.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship
- Current security clearance (secret at a minimum)
- 12+ years of significant experience in IT Asset Management, Configuration Management, or Technology Lifecycle Management within a DoD/Federal environment.
- Strong understanding of DoD Financial Management (FM), procurement processes, and how spending directly intersects with software licensing entitlements.
- Technical or functional experience working within or interfacing with the Advana platform.
- Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills to build trust and establish relationships across diverse techno-functional teams.
Nice To Haves
- Advana Financial Management modules or Advana-based reconciliation for the Working Capital Fund (WCF).
- Hands-on experience with legacy Air Force / DoD financial systems ( FASTR , CRIS , ITIPS , DEAMS ).
- Experience building data pipelines or data quality governance for DoD AI-driven infrastructure initiatives.
- Track record of transitioning legacy spreadsheet-based operations into ServiceNow (ITAM/SAM/HAM) or Advana automated workflows.
Responsibilities
- Manage the complete asset lifecycle across hardware, software, leases, and procurement, ensuring full visibility into user access and licensing entitlements.
- Transform unstructured, spreadsheet-based legacy operations into enterprise platform automated workflows (e.g., Advana, ServiceNow).
- Perform end-to-end financial tracing ("shell backs") and reconciliation to tie spending directly to assets, contracts, and software licenses.
- Serve as a senior lead and liaison across techno-functional teams, bridging technical developers/architects with DoD operational stakeholders.
- Support data pipeline integrity, risk mitigation guardrails, and data-quality metrics for enterprise resource allocation and financial reporting.
