About The Position

We are looking for a Senior Art Director who is passionate about visual storytelling and brand communication in the healthcare and pharmaceutical space. This role is for an experienced designer who excels at developing strategic creative solutions, driving innovative projects, and mentoring junior designers. This is a remote role and you will report to a VP, Creative Director.

Requirements

• A highly skilled visual communicator, with the ability to translate complex information into engaging, easy-to-understand designs.
• A conceptual thinker, who can develop big ideas.
• A strong presenter and collaborator, capable of articulating creative ideas and working cross-functionally to develop the best solutions.
• Proficient in industry-standard tools, including Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and AI-driven design resources.
• A strategic designer, with an understanding of how visuals impact brand messaging and audience engagement.
• Adaptable and resilient, able to balance creative ambition with regulatory requirements in the pharma space.
• A good human, bringing professionalism, humility, and enthusiasm to every project and interaction.
• A pharma advertising professional, you will bring 3+ years of experience in a pharma advertising agency setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead the creative development of your assigned brands, ensuring work is strategic, innovative, and visually impactful.
• Master the design hallmarks and branding guidelines of your accounts, applying them consistently across all creative deliverables.
• Conceptualize and build multi-platform creative work, including digital, print, video, and social campaigns for both HCP and patient audiences.
• Collaborate with Copywriters, Art Directors, and Strategy teams, ensuring that messaging and visuals work together seamlessly.
• Present and defend creative concepts to our teams and clients, expressing the strategic and aesthetic rationale behind your work.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior Art Directors, encouraging their growth and ensuring high-quality output across the team.
• Stay informed on industry trends and technological advancements, applying them to enhance the quality and effectiveness of creative work.
