Senior Art Director, Creative Technology Design

About The Position

As a senior member of digital’s content team, the Senior Art Director will work cross-functionally and collaborate with the Creative Director, Art Directors, Project Managers, and Senior Leadership outside the department. The Senior Art Director will be required to take strong creative direction, develop unique conceptual ideas, and execute high-impact marketing initiatives with A+ quality for the digital landscape and social media. We are looking for an original thinker and storyteller who has a passion for creating stunning, impactful designs for the digital and social space at a senior level. You should have the desire to push the limits of what can be done to create truly original concepts with strong fundamental designs, layouts, motion graphics, typography, and conceptual skills.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of professional design, motion, and advertising experience with a portfolio that demonstrates hands-on, cutting-edge interactive work
  • Extensive UI design skills and working knowledge of UX
  • Solid animation skills with the ability to create award-winning motion combining video editing, 3D animation, eye-catching motion graphics, rotoscoping, and sound design for digital ads, social, and OOH
  • Solid working knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Keynote, and Invision
  • Strong understanding of social platforms (including specs) and the social media space
  • Self-motivated learner with excellent time management skills and a solid work ethic
  • Positive, can-do attitude with high-level dedication and collaborative spirit
  • Exceptional coordination and multi-tasking skills
  • Proven aptitude for quick creative thinking with acute attention to detail within demanding deadlines
  • Hands-on digital senior art director, self-starter, and innovative thinker
  • Ability to identify and resolve issues before they become problems
  • Ability to plan, organize, and adapt in a constantly changing environment
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Responsibilities

  • Work with the Creative Director and other team members to conceptually develop and execute creative that incorporates best practices in digital and social media
  • Work closely with Project Managers to understand timing and deliverables, and plan production
  • Work on multiple projects simultaneously under demanding deadlines
  • Understand and maintain FOX show brand requirements, goals, and objectives while pushing creative boundaries
  • Translate creative concepts into compelling designs and motion graphics pieces
  • Produce creative solutions that meet or exceed strategic objectives
  • Create storyboards, comps, animation, visual effects, photo retouching, and image enhancements
  • Stay current with the latest trends and technology in advertising and marketing, but also in culture generally
  • Strong conceptual thinking with active participation in creative ideation, strategy, and brainstorming
