About The Position

This role requires extensive expertise in PeopleSoft FIN 9.2, with a specific focus on General Ledger (GL) and Commitment Control (KK). The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of ledger configurations, budget structures, and transactional processing frameworks. While working within the functional team, advanced technical proficiency in PeopleSoft development and troubleshooting is essential. The position involves comprehensive knowledge of cross-module integration points (GL, AP, AR, Purchasing, Billing, and Travel & Expense), with an emphasis on interdependency workflows and integration touchpoints. Experience with PeopleSoft architectures integrating with external applications is also required. The role includes hands-on PeopleSoft development, working with application engines, and proficiency in Application Designer. Analyzing PeopleCode, AE programs, and other technical objects to identify root causes, customizations, retrofitting needs, and upgrade conflicts is a key responsibility. Proficiency in People Tools, Integration Broker, web services, and REST and SOAP API integrations is necessary. Project management experience, coupled with excellent written and verbal communication skills, is crucial for leading functional design discussions and technical solution walkthroughs. The candidate must be proficient at PS Query, knowledgeable in SOA and other file transfer technologies, and experienced in creating custom inbound and outbound interface files with banking and other external systems. Familiarity with PeopleSoft tables and structures for research and analysis, along with experience in production support (issue triage, defect resolution, incident management), is expected. Comprehensive PeopleSoft lifecycle testing experience (vouchering, purchasing, GL journal posting, accounts receivable processing), including test sequencing, data staging, and end-to-end business process validation, is required. The role also involves writing enhancement documentation, including requirements gathering, business analysis, configuration, identifying tables and code changes, test conditions, business risks, and alternative options. Experience with a large Government enterprise solution is desired. The position requires on-call availability 24/7.
