About The Position

Exponent is seeking a Senior Architect or Architectural Engineer for its Civil & Structural Engineering Practice. This role involves leading and growing engineering/architectural consulting services regionally and nationally. The position requires working as part of a team to address complex client challenges in areas such as building envelope and material failures, analytical problem-solving, and field investigations. Requirements

  • Ph.D. or Master's Degree in Architectural Engineering or Architecture.
  • At least 2-3 years of consulting experience related to buildings.
  • Presently legally authorized to work in the United States. No immigration sponsorship or processing required.
  • Professional license in Engineering (PE) and/or Architecture (AIA) in the United States.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to synthesize technical information and present it to specialists and non-specialists alike.
  • Clear written communication and technical writing skills are required.
  • Proven dedication to quality and accuracy.
  • Versatile, team-oriented, willing to work overtime and travel when required.

Responsibilities

  • Inspection, analysis, and determination of root causes of building envelope and building material failures.
  • Conducting analytical and computer problem solving.
  • Performing field investigations and diagnostic surveys.

  • Successfully managing projects.
