About The Position

The role involves working primarily as a software engineer, utilizing infrastructure as code solutions that require both Software Engineering and Systems Administrator skillsets. Requirements
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Must have an Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph
- 5 or more years of AWS experience, including building AWS resources using CloudFormation and interacting with them using AWS SDKs (Ruby, Python, Java).
- 5 or more years of Object Oriented Programming background (Ruby, Python, Java, or NodeJS).
- Experience with Jenkins and creating Jenkins Pipelines, with an understanding of continuous integration and continuous deployment best practices.
- At least 1 to 2 years of experience with Docker and a container orchestration tool (Docker Compose, ECS).
- 5 years of Bash shell scripting experience.
- At least 2 years experience with GitHub and any branching strategy.
- Ability to work as a team player and collaborate effectively with others regardless of skill levels.
Nice To Haves
- Java experience
- Experience with AWS CDK
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain AWS resources using CloudFormation.
- Develop and maintain software using Object-Oriented Programming languages like Ruby, Python, or NodeJS.
- Utilize the AWS SDK in supported languages (Ruby, Python, Java, NodeJS).
- Manage software installations using Puppet.
- Build and maintain Docker containers and work with customer operating systems.
- Utilize Docker orchestration tools such as ECS or Docker Compose.
- Create shared Jenkins libraries.
- Support Mesos/Marathon.
- Support DevOps needs across various teams with a range of skill levels.
- Help development teams utilize AWS correctly.
