Senior Applications Analyst
About The Position
The Senior Applications Analyst is responsible for supporting OMC computer application systems, which includes analysis and input on system selection, product upgrades, and problem analysis and resolution. This position is often responsible for leading large, complex, technical projects and is responsible for working with the departmental customer and application vendor, as well as documentation, establishing procedures, and system backup and recovery process. The Senior Applications Analyst recommends standards of operations and coordinates activities and projects with other Information Services (IS) and OMC staff.
Requirements
- Five + years’ experience with application analysis and support of enterprise-level systems required, preferably in a healthcare setting
- Proven leadership of complex projects, requiring coordination with multiple departments, teams, and vendors
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems or Healthcare field preferred (work experience, certifications, and specialized training may be considered in lieu of Bachelor’s degree)
- Experience in EHR (Electronic Health Record) and HIE (Health Information Exchange) system support, and/or ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning), specifically Workday HCM system support preferred
- Experience with UKG Dimensions Support and/or Time Tracking system support preferred
- Experience providing end-user training preferred
- Experience in Microsoft Server Environment preferred
- Experience with Microsoft PowerShell a plus
