Senior Application Programmer
About The Position
Basecamp Consulting and Solutions is seeking a Senior Application Programmer to support the sustainment and modernization of a Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) geospatial map catalog application suite. This role involves developing software based on requirements, collaborating with Business Analysts and Systems Architects, and utilizing various web-based technologies. The position focuses on both maintaining the current application baseline, including defect resolution and security compliance, and designing/developing the next-generation replacement application and modernizing geospatial data-processing automation. This is a full-time, remote position with no authorized travel.
Requirements
- Relevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authority
- BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related discipline
- Active Secret Clearance
- Five (5) years of total work experience developing
- Experience with application programming interfaces (APIs) to support Low-Code/No-Code Development Platform models
- Experience using low-code/no-code business process modeling notation (BPMN) tools
- Experience developing application/process automation software based on BPMN models, experience using software tools such as Appian, Salesforce, Nintex, etc. with Microsoft SQL Server databases and Microsoft .NET development environment
- Experience with ESRI Software Development Kit (SDK) Java and .NET
- Experience with ESRI ArcGIS Pro including Tasks
- Experience with ESRI Online and Portal
- Experience with Jira
- Experience with DevSecOps
- Experience in agile and hybrid low-code application development
- Knowledge and experience of the ESRI Suite is required
Responsibilities
- Serve as the lead developer supporting the sustainment and modernization of a Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) geospatial map catalog application suite.
- Develop software based on requirements developed by Business Analysts to meet the needed business solution at an enterprise, large-scale level.
- Collaborate with a Business Analyst to meet the requirement of fulfilling the client's goals to implement the business solution.
- Work directly with the Systems Architect to develop and implement new third-party applications, tools, and programming libraries to meet the business development goals of the client.
- Utilize web-based software such as Java, HTML, .NET, AngularJS, JavaScript, SOAP, REST API, mobile development, and Web Based API in the building of software applications.
- Sustain the current application baseline, including defect resolution, quarterly release packaging, security scanning and STIG compliance, and support to Risk Management Framework (RMF) authorization documentation.
- Design and develop the next-generation replacement application.
- Modernize supporting geospatial data-processing automation within ESRI ArcGIS Pro.
