About The Position

CGI is looking to hire an Angular developer specializing in building secure, scalable, and intuitive user interface, integrate with RESTful and event driven APIs to work on projects for one of the largest financial institutions in US in a challenging technical environment and gain exposure of advanced tools and technology suites. This role will require someone at our client site 5 days a week in Pittsburgh, PA, Cleveland, OH, or Dallas, TX.

Requirements

MInimum 6+ years overall experience
6+ years in Fron End development Angular, ReactJS, CSS, JavaScript, HTML, Node JS
3+ years of GitHub, Jenkins and CI/CD server
Responsive design, web standards and UI/UX best practices
Experience writing unit tests for JavaScript code.
Understanding of RESTful or SOAP web services (Java/J2EE development with REST API, Spring Boot, Openshift Container, Angular, XML, JSON, UML, Jenkins, Swagger)
Works independently within a team environment in one of the applications
Experience using Agile methodologies for developing application

Responsibilities

Design, Develop and Implement Front End Agular User Interfaces, Angular.Js, Node Js (JavaScript framework) (Mandatory)
Understanding Java RESTful services that integrates with external client systems and front end user interface
Strong attention to detail and understanding of UX and visual design concepts
Analyzes user requirements, and defines technical project scope and assumptions for assigned tasks.
Creates technical designs for new systems, and/or modifications to existing systems.
Translates detailed requirements into functional system designs.
Work closely with internal and external design, business, and technical counterparts
Research and recommend functional libraries to expedite development
