About The Position

The Senior Analyst will be working directly with our client to support data analysis and reporting for the Energy and Power team. You’ll be responsible for organizing data inputs, maintaining/developing quantitative models, and preparing reports & presentations. The ideal Senior Analyst is a proactive problem solver who seamlessly bridges the gap between deep data and executive decision-making. You will support in maintaining and evolving our quantitative models, ensuring data inputs are flawlessly organized. We need someone who thinks ahead, delivers reports and presentations on time, and values clean documentation so the Energy and Power team’s insights are always clear and accessible. Experience in the energy sector is a must for this role.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in data management & analysis within the energy industry
  • A Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline (Business Administration, Statistics, Economics), or the equivalent combination of education and experience, is required
  • Detail-oriented
  • Successful track record managing multiple work streams and varied projects
  • Very strong communicator and excels in working with a variety of stakeholders
  • Proficient with Google Suite (e.g., Sheets) and familiarity with SQL (Python a plus)
  • Experience in the energy sector is a must for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain, improve, and develop quantitative models & frameworks to evaluate financial and operational metrics
  • Conduct data analytics requests, in consultation with clients and other internal team leads
  • Create reports, summaries, and presentations to highlight strategic insights that are compelling and actionable
  • Identify or build data pipelines to support analysis
  • Coordinate and organize manual data or feedback from internal and external stakeholders – including data entry into relevant databases
  • Perform data quality assurance and control processes – including coordinating across multiple stakeholders to address data errors or inconsistencies
