About The Position

At GXO Logistics, the Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) Senior Analyst serves as the liaison between Operations and IT, maintaining the relationship and ensuring clear communication. The role evaluates, analyzes, configures, tests, and supports WMS business functions, identifies opportunities to improve processes through system applications, and helps translate user needs into functional requirements. The position also supports system changes, issue resolution, implementation testing, and end-user training.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent related work or military experience.
At least 3 years of experience in logistics system implementation.
Distribution or warehousing experience.
Experience with WMS, order management applications, and database systems.
Knowledge of automated software systems and implementation.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of SAP.
3 years of experience in WMS configuration, relational databases, and writing SQL queries.
Ability to obtain cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including stakeholders, project team, and other departments.
Solid Excel skills, including building drop-downs, formatting, pivot tables, and graphing.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize work.
Solid change management skills.

Responsibilities

Evaluate, define, and analyze existing WMS; configure, test, and support business functions.
Educate management about process improvement opportunities using applications in the system.
Communicate changes, improvements, and modifications to management so issues and solutions are understood.
Determine project scope and identify and resolve system issues.
Translate user requirements into functional requirements, including creating process models, diagrams, and charts to guide the team.
Handle configuration changes in the WMS.
Define and coordinate implementation of test cases.
Train end users on modifications to existing processes and new processes.
