The Senior Analyst, Walmart & Sam’s Club will partner with the Sales team to provide strategic, consultative analytics that support profitable growth across the Carl Buddig and Company portfolio. This role is responsible for developing and translating end-to-end analytics to improve business performance, strengthen execution, and evaluate shopper engagement. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated, analytical storyteller who learns quickly, works well in a fast-paced environment, and converts data into clear recommendations for internal leaders and retail partners. This position will be located in or around the Bentonville, Arkansas area.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution required.
  • Minimum of four years of experience using Microsoft Office, including advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Consumer packaged goods experience supporting Walmart or Sam’s Club.
  • Minimum of five years of experience with Walmart Retail Link, Madrid, Scintilla, or related retailer systems and processes preferred.
  • Experience developing sales plans and supporting execution through an effective sales strategy.
  • Highly organized and analytically driven, with a practical approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to translate complex data into clear insights, recommendations, and compelling business stories.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to independently develop presentations, spreadsheets, and business correspondence.
  • Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Agile learner who works effectively both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment.

Responsibilities

  • Create, maintain, and communicate daily, weekly, monthly, and annual reporting for the Walmart and Sam’s Club Sales team.
  • Administer and communicate promotional event, modular, item launch tracking and identify long-term opportunities using Nielsen/Circana, Walmart Scintilla, Supplier One and other relevant data sources.
  • Develop fact-based recommendations for assortment opportunities and promotional strategies.
  • Evaluate large datasets and transform insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Support weekly and monthly buyer presentations.
  • Provide analytical support for internal Quarterly Business Reviews and annual planning.
  • Support new item launches, line reviews, and category growth initiatives.
  • Assist with forecasting and volume projections across Walmart and Sam’s Club items, both internal/external.
  • Analyze Walmart supply chain reporting and collaborate with Operations and Supply Chain to Identify risks and opportunities impacting sales, inventory, and service levels.
  • Communicate proactively with retailer contacts regarding replenishment and inventory opportunities.
  • Proactively develop best-in-class tools and processes that improve team efficiency, strengthen business visibility, and help unlock future growth.
  • Present forward-looking ideas and recommendations internally to leadership and externally to retail partners.
