About The Position

GXO Logistics Supply Chain, Inc. is seeking a Senior Analyst, Supply Chain Systems to join their team in Clayton, Indiana. This role involves the design and implementation of WMS/OMS/B2B system solutions, including process/system design, configuration, user training, testing, go-live support, and continuous improvement. The analyst will work through all phases of the SDLC, leading focus groups and workshops to define requirements and create business requirement documents. They will analyze customer and business partner requirements to implement and support warehouse and transportation systems. The position also requires participation in integration meetings, translation of business requirements into technical specifications, and partnership with technical experts for WMS solution development. Daily technical support for warehouse management and automation control systems is also a key responsibility. The role requires identifying potential issues, recommending solutions, and escalating as needed. Flexibility in work schedule, including planned and unplanned overtime and weekends, is expected. The position is eligible for telecommuting within a reasonable commuting distance from the worksite, with a requirement for physical presence at the worksite several days a week. Travel up to 10% to company headquarters in NC is required.

Requirements

  • BS degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, or closely related degree. Employer will accept any foreign BS program of at least 3 years and 2 years in Business Analyst, IT Support Analyst, software engineer or related occupation.
  • Two (2) Years of experience in all of the below:
  • 3PL or MIS experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience including WMS Implementation.
  • Understanding of warehouse processes (receiving through shipping), automation systems (Picking Bots, GTP, Pick to Light, ASRS, Robotic Arms, Unit Sorter, Shipping, Conveyor, etc.) that may interface with the WMS, and peripheral interface devices (RF printers, etc.).
  • WMS configuration, implementation, and support in a distribution center environment with familiarity of RF systems and equipment.
  • Experience of writing and/or administering SQL for Oracle or similar databases.

Responsibilities

  • Design & implementation of WMS/OMS/B2B system solution including process/system design, system set-up and configuration, user training, testing, go-live support, and continuous improvement.
  • Lead focus groups and workshops to discuss requirements, articulate business processes and creating business requirement documents that meet the strategic needs of the supply chain initiatives.
  • Analyze customer and business partner requirements to understand and apply systems implementation concepts and principles to effectively implement and support inbound, outbound, internal warehouse processes and transportation systems.
  • Participate in integration meetings with clients to determine system requirements and specifications relative to integration mapping and product configuration.
  • Translate clients/business requirements into system requirements, technical specifications, and logical data mappings for integration.
  • Partner with technical subject matter experts to develop the detailed technical process flow, business, architecture, integration requirements and decision points for the WMS solution.
  • Provide day to day technical support of warehouse management systems and automation control systems.
  • Identify potential issues, recommend solutions, escalate to appropriate level, seek advice and guidance from within/external to organization.
  • Work a flexible work schedule as needed, including planned and unplanned overtime, which may include weekends.
