About The Position

Xometry is seeking a Senior Analyst, Supply Chain Planning to build demand planning, supply planning, and analytical capabilities for its strategic production programs. The role translates customer demand into capacity, production placement, material plans, and lead-time commitments, while giving leadership actionable insight into capacity, volume allocation, inventory, and risk. It combines ongoing planning ownership with direct program management of new and emerging opportunities that lack an established playbook. The role reports to the Director, Strategic Program Enablement. The analyst will own planning processes across a portfolio of strategic programs, monitor partner capacity and program performance, run recurring supply and demand reviews, and develop forecasts, models, dashboards, and reports. They will support new programs through launch and ramp, establish operating processes and metrics, coordinate internal teams and manufacturing partners, and communicate planning assumptions and recommendations to stakeholders and senior leaders.

  • At least 7 years of hands-on experience in demand planning, supply planning, production planning, or materials planning, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

  • Experience running or supporting an S&OP or supply and demand review process.
  • Strong quantitative and modeling skills; advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills are required.
  • Experience with SQL or a comparable analytical tool and with building dashboards in a BI tool such as Tableau, Looker, or Power BI.

  • Build and maintain demand forecasts for strategic production programs using customer forecasts, order history, and input from account and program teams.
  • Translate demand into partner capacity requirements, production placement, material plans, and lead-time commitments.
  • Monitor partner capacity, production schedules, and inventory positions; identify shortfalls, excess, and on-time delivery risks early.
  • Run recurring supply and demand reviews with commercial, operations, and partner network stakeholders, and drive decisions and follow-ups to closure.
  • Set and track planning KPIs, including forecast accuracy, capacity coverage, and on-time delivery.
  • Maintain a consolidated view of demand, committed capacity, and program loading across the strategic program portfolio.
  • Build scenario models to assess volume changes, capacity constraints, partner changes, and program ramps.
  • Lead analysis for capacity, sourcing, safety stock, and cost-to-serve decisions, and present clear recommendations.
  • Build reusable models, dashboards, and reports, and define planning data requirements in collaboration with Product and Data teams.
  • Support new opportunities with demand and capacity planning, timelines, and status tracking.
  • Establish reporting and metrics to track cost, quality, and delivery through program pilots and ramps.
  • Coordinate with partners and internal teams on schedules, material, and shipment plans during program launches.
  • Document planning processes and templates for reuse across future programs.
  • Work with Sales and Account teams to turn customer roadmaps and forecasts into planning inputs.
  • Partner with Partner Network and Field Deployed Engineering teams on partner capacity and production placement.
  • Align with Finance on volume assumptions, cost models, and margin implications.
  • Communicate planning assumptions, risks, and tradeoffs to program leads and senior leadership.
