About The Position

Groupe Touchette Immobilier is seeking a Senior Analyst, Real Estate Investments & Financing to support the company’s real estate growth and capital strategy. This role will be responsible for underwriting and executing real estate acquisitions and developments related to the company’s national distribution network, as well as acquisitions within the company’s investment real estate portfolio. The role will also oversee real estate financing activities, including debt placement, refinancing, and construction financing, while supporting ongoing asset management and portfolio performance monitoring. This position is ideal for a real estate professional with strong financial modeling skills and experience in acquisitions, development underwriting, and real estate capital markets.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in real estate investments, development, or finance
  • Strong financial modeling and underwriting skills
  • Experience with acquisitions and real estate financing
  • Understanding of industrial real estate and development economics
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling
  • Strong analytical and presentation skills
  • Bilingualism required: Proficiency in English is required due to the nature of interactions with predominantly English-speaking clients and partners across Canada. This language is used frequently in both written and verbal communications. An advanced level is required.

Responsibilities

  • Underwrite acquisitions across the company’s real estate portfolio including industrial facilities for distribution operations and investment properties (retail, office, industrial).
  • Prepare detailed financial models including IRR, NPV, and sensitivity analyses.
  • Conduct market research, rent comparables, and investment analysis.
  • Support due diligence including leases, financial statements, and property reports.
  • Assist in structuring acquisition transactions.
  • Analyze development opportunities for distribution facilities.
  • Prepare development pro formas including construction costs, lease assumptions, and financing structures.
  • Support project feasibility analysis and investment committee presentations.
  • Work with development partners and consultants during project execution.
  • Manage debt financing processes including property-level financing, portfolio financings, and construction loans.
  • Prepare financing packages and lender presentations.
  • Coordinate with lenders, brokers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Analyze refinancing opportunities and debt structures.
  • Monitor loan covenants and maturity schedules.
  • Track financial performance across the company’s real estate portfolio.
  • Monitor property cash flows, budgets, and returns.
  • Maintain portfolio-level reporting and dashboards.
  • Assist with strategic decisions regarding refinancing, dispositions, or repositioning.
  • Support annual portfolio valuation and performance analysis.
