About The Position

The Senior Analyst will support the Specialty Product team, which seeks profitable growth for US Retail Markets through innovative products and owns the P&L for a niche, high-value portfolio. The position aligns with Motorcycle, RV, Watercraft, and Classic Car products. The analyst evaluates performance, oversees product changes and initiatives, and collaborates with underwriting, actuarial, and regulatory partners. Analysis and recommendations help shape competition and product strategy.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in business, economics, or another quantitative field.
At least 3 years of relevant work experience; typically 4 years or more.
Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis software such as SAS or Access.
Good planning, organizational, analytical, decision-making, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Perform complex analyses with minimal direction to evaluate assigned product-line performance, identify trends and issues, and recommend actionable improvements.
Influence and implement adapted country-wide or state-level initiatives, and conduct high-level analyses to support product-line strategy.
Independently manage low- to moderate-complexity projects.
Present line-of-business reviews, complex analyses, and results of countrywide initiatives to Product Managers.
Query data for ad hoc analysis of metrics and advanced business questions, and build advanced tools and queries for others to use.
Serve as the point person for complex countrywide implementations.
Research competitor filings using various sources and assess how competitor actions affect the marketplace, distribution channels, and customers.
Identify and propose changes to product offerings based on state-, competitor-, or countrywide research.
