As a Senior Analyst Programmer (SEAMS), you will play a key role in designing, building, and supporting a modern, cloud-native application that underpins the University’s student learning ecosystem. This is a hands-on, full-stack engineering role working across a contemporary React and Node.js environment, contributing to both major initiatives and ongoing enhancements. You’ll join a collaborative development team responsible for a broad portfolio of applications, with the opportunity to influence architecture, improve engineering practices, and work closely with stakeholders to deliver high-impact solutions across the University.

Requirements

Strong full-stack development experience (React, Node.js, JavaScript/ TypeScript).
Experience designing and building cloud-native applications (AWS or similar).
Solid understanding of APIs (REST/SOAP) and integration patterns.
Proven ability to work in Agile environments and manage competing priorities.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts to stakeholders

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain applications and integrations across the SEAMS (e-learning) platform.
Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions.
Lead technical components of projects and guide developers and contractors.
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, ensuring system reliability.
Contribute to continuous improvement of development practices and standards.
Provide production support and technical advice to stakeholders regarding the use of current or technology for application development.
