This is a hybrid position requiring the employee to be located within 100 miles of a Mayo Clinic campus for occasional on-site work. The role involves designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining custom and purchased system software, as well as configuring and supporting hardware. Responsibilities include acting as a consultant and mentor, participating in proposal development, evaluating alternatives, and making recommendations. The position requires regular review and modification of software for currency and functionality, maintenance of multiple systems and complex applications, and production of system documentation. The Senior Analyst/Programmer will provide technical and project leadership, demonstrate initiative, work independently and collaboratively, and gain consensus from stakeholders. They may interface with vendor support and act as a liaison between Mayo departments and vendors. Routine collaboration with colleagues is expected, and 24/7 on-call support may be required.
