About The Position

The Senior Analyst, Process Improvement, plays a critical role in evaluating performance metrics and driving data-informed strategies to enhance operational efficiency. This position partners with cross-functional teams to identify improvement opportunities, develop and implement process enhancements, and support transformational change initiatives. The role requires expertise in analyzing trends, managing projects, and communicating insights to influence decision-making at all levels. By applying industry best practices and organizational knowledge, the Senior Analyst ensures sustainable improvements that align with business objectives and promote long-term success across multiple functions. The Process Improvement team focuses on identifying, analyzing, and implementing enhancements to Walmart Seller Support business processes. The team drives continuous advancement by streamlining seller contacts and improving seller experiences on Walmart.com. Responsibilities include evaluating performance metrics, conducting thorough analyses, and executing strategic upgrades to optimize workflows, systems, and processes. The team collaborates across functions to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in Seller Support operations, supporting sustainable improvements that align with organizational goals and promote operational excellence.

Requirements

  • Proven expertise in process improvement and organizational change management within complex business environments.
  • Strong proficiency in Lean Six Sigma and Six Sigma methodologies, including root cause analysis and process mapping.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze performance metrics, interpret data trends, and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Experience leading cross-functional projects and managing change initiatives to achieve sustainable operational improvements.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with stakeholders and executives.
  • Skilled in project management, risk mitigation, and aligning operational strategies with business objectives.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Human Resources, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field and 6 months’ experience in consulting, project management, business strategy, or related area.
  • 2.5 years’ experience in consulting, project management, business strategy, or related area.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze performance metrics across functional areas to identify trends and recommend improvements.
  • Develop and present reports to support informed business decisions.
  • Lead process improvement initiatives by partnering with cross-functional teams and applying Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Monitor program performance, identify post-implementation issues, and drive resolution efforts.
  • Advise on project risks, compliance, and best practices to ensure successful execution.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders and influence decision-makers to align strategies and processes.
