About The Position

The Senior Analyst Policy and Stakeholder Engagement will facilitate policy-focused discussions between MISO and stakeholders, plan and manage annual meeting schedules, support agenda development, material review, and general process guidance. This role will advise staff on contentious issues and stakeholder engagement strategies, develop and post stakeholder meeting materials and communications, and use AI tools to automate tasks, analyze data, generate insights, and support decision-making. The analyst will coordinate with conference services, vendors, and hosts for seamless meeting execution, track attendance, issues, and action items, and maintain issue-tracking tools. Additionally, the role involves identifying opportunities for process improvements, recommending changes, facilitating cross-departmental communication and issue coordination, documenting risks, gaps, and improvement areas, and providing excellent customer and stakeholder service. Additional duties may be assigned.

Requirements

  • Ability to develop, communicate, and coordinate project plans
  • Strong comprehension of complex business scenarios and data analysis
  • Proficiency with AI transcription/summarization tools
  • Understanding of committee structures and stakeholder governance
  • Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and adapt in a fast‑paced environment
  • Customer service and stakeholder relationship management
  • Internal liaison leadership and coordination
  • Knowledge of parliamentary procedures
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Public Relations, Political Science, Technical Communications, Engineering, or related field
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • AI proficiency (transcription, summarization, analytic tools)

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of parliamentary procedures preferred
  • Experience with stakeholder/membership organizations, Board/Committee structures, meeting administration, and workflow analysis
  • Energy industry experience preferred
