About The Position

Salesforce is seeking a Senior Analyst of CS Strategy & Analytics to shape the long-term direction of their Customer Success organization through data-driven insights and strategic planning. This role focuses on product adoption strategy, analytics innovation, and scalable engagement motions to evolve Salesforce outcomes in an AI-first world. The ideal candidate will independently drive strategic initiatives, collaborate with senior stakeholders, and scale analytics quality and self-service capabilities. This is an individual contributor role that requires a proactive strategic thinker with a proven track record in analytical frameworks and leading without formal authority.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Data Science, Economics, Finance, Math/Statistics or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in roles requiring data, business analytics, financial due diligence, strategic planning and business acumen.
  • Proficiency with databases (SQL, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Python/R, Tableau etc.)
  • Strong experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau) and knowledge of best practices, performance optimization techniques, and agentic capabilities.
  • Proven ability to synthesize multiple sources of information into a compelling strategic point of view.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving and occasionally ambiguous environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, collaborating effectively with stakeholders, communicating complex topics using simple language and building organizational consensus.
  • Familiarity with data and analytics concepts, able to work with data professionals to translate data-driven insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a cross-functional team environment, fostering collaboration and alignment.
  • Experience managing complex projects and initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and successful implementation.

Responsibilities

  • Driving analytics productization and self-service: Create scalable reporting assets that reduce ad-hoc requests and improve stakeholder access to insights.
  • Coaching team members on Tableau and analytics best practices: Improve turnaround speed, dashboard quality, and stakeholder-ready outputs.
  • Data analysis and interpretation: Conduct analysis of large and complex datasets to extract meaningful insights for CSG. Interpret data trends, patterns, and anomalies to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Data analysis: Perform detailed data analysis and develop complex data models to derive actionable insights and support decision-making processes at scale.
  • Dashboard development and self-service enablement: Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau and enable end-users through TableauNext.
  • Machine learning modeling: Clean and preprocess raw data to ensure its quality, completeness, and usability for analytical and modeling purposes.
  • Identify and create relevant data features to enhance machine learning model performance and accuracy. Build predictive machine learning models under guidance of senior team members.
  • Collaborative Problem Solving: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into data-driven solutions. Work cross-functionally with engineering, product, and business teams to integrate data science solutions into existing systems.
